 Actual position In 2005, Ségécé Hungary obtained the ownership of the shopping center operator, Plaza Centers Management Kft. The company has been dedicated to the proper management of 16 shopping centers. 12 of them are owned by Klépierre and 4 of them by the English Dawnay Day Group. All of them are located in medium and large cities within Hungary. Their presence in the whole country positions Klépierre as a leader of the shopping centers operator and management market.
Established in 1956, Ségécé has the experience of more than one hundred developments of every size, from downtown city centers in major European cities, as well as in outer suburbs. As continental Europe's largest manager of shopping centers, with interests in 10 countries through a network of subsidiaries and joint ventures, the Ségécé group manages over 345 shopping centers and some 12 700 leases.
Ségécé focuses in two fields of activity:
Developing or buying
Create or purchase for investors in shopping centers, in quality leisure and in service facilities.
Proactive management
Operate these centers by continually improving the asset for all partners involved including investors, retailers and local authorities.
In the near future, Ségécé Hungary will focus on several extension projects concerning several existing shopping plazas and will seek new development opportunities in Hungary.
Since 1998, Ségécé has been a subsidiary of Klépierre, the real investment company of BNP Paribas.
